26-7-2018 Zomerschaak en de website

Deze zomer zijn er vermoedelijk een aantal schakers van onze club actief op diverse toernooien. Op de site van het ONK in Dieren kon ik Joop ontdekken die het tot nu toe niet onverdienstelijk doet in de afdeling zesrondig 2. Jan vd Berg is daar ook , in reservegroep C. Ons oud-lid Freddie schaakt wat verder weg in Pardubice (Tsjechie). Zijn verrichtingen zijn hier te zien.
Dat brengt me op de website van Sc.Middelstum: In een overmoedige bui had ik toegezegd het beheer van de website van Freddie over te nemen. Bij nader inzicht blijkt dit voor mij een bijkans onmogelijke klus. De site is gebaseerd op Windows software terwijl ik Apple gebruik. Afgezien daarvan komt er HTML bij kijken waarvan ik echt geen kaas gegeten heb. Met Freddie heb ik nu afgesproken dat hij er nog een jaar voor zorgt dat de website in de lucht blijft. Daarna zien we weer verder. Ik zal ondertussen het redactionele werk op mij nemen. Dat houdt in dat ik regelmatig verslag doe van zaken die van belang zijn voor onze club. Wellicht kunnen de clubleden mij af en toe van munitie voorzien. Mijn e-mailadres is te vinden op de informatiepagina Ik wens jullie allen een plezierige zomer.
